Last 18th of November we represent USIT and we started the Step Up Step Out project in Norway together with 4 other countries, held in Gåsbu, where we spent most of the days at the accommodation place doing different activities related to the theme of the project.
Throughout the days, through the activities and the time spent together, we created an
between different countries.
Most of the activities were directly related to dance, but we also did outdoor acting or sport activities like hiking, we explored the surroundings of the cabin and a bit more of the village where we were staying; we did physical exercises every day that helped us to get active.
We received lectures and reflected on sedentary lifestyles and looked for ways to avoid these behaviours in young people, as well as implementing methods of prevention.
During our free time we split up to visit nearby towns such as Lillehammer or Oslo, as well as spending time in the cabin together with the other countries sharing time together. we would especially emphasize in this project the good relationships that have been created, the good time we have had and how much we have learned about other cultures and all kinds of people who are very different from me. It would not have been possible to achieve such a good project during the long stay without the participation of all the people who were willing to help and have fun.
Without a doubt, we take this project with me as one of the most precious projects we have ever undertaken, surrounded by people as beautiful as the country we were in.
