Kick off of the European project «Stress Management Through Physical Activation» the project is funded within the Erasmus+ Sport programme and aims to reduce depression, anxiety and stress, physical activity improves self-image perception, and boosts self-confidence. It is clearly understood that active living has a wide range of effects, from physical well-being to improved social and cognitive skills that have a direct impact on mental health and well-being.
The first meeting was attended by partners from Italy, Turkey, Spain, Bulgaria and the Czech Republic and all the activities to be carried out during the project, presentation of the organisations, division of tasks, dissemination, visibility, etc. were discussed.
We also had the opportunity to have a talk about sport as a tool for stress and to visit different areas of the city of Ostrava.
